I have one I bough last year. The hardware it comes with is terrible and will not work. I highly recommend you use these Lexus grille T bolts. Luckily I had some in my bolts drawer from my days of being a collision tech.
Fit is good but not perfect. I do have a few gaps I can live with. For the price is not bad but I’m sure they’re all different. I would test fit and lay on hood while applying a little bit of pressure to see how it’s going to sit on your hood before you start drilling holes. I used the video below for install help.

Thanks! I actually have a TRD PRO hood from Toyota and it came pre-drilled with holes so it should be way easier. I'll probably use the Toyota hardware and see how it works with the ebay scoop. If the fitment is decent when it arrives, I'm down to save $400+ and just return the OEM one I have.

Hope the aftermarket uses the same hole pattern as OEM :fingerscrossed:

    UPDATE

I went to my body shop and brought both and the replica scoop is nearly identical. The fitment is about 95% and my body shop said only minimal smoothing around the edges. In the photos you may see the gap on the sides look bigger on the rep, but after inserting the trim/double-sided tape and tightening the hardware down it should be flush. The hole pattern matches OEM.

The replica kit comes with all the hardware and scoop insert whereas the OEM kit you have to piece everything separately.

We basically used the rep scoop with OEM everything else (scoop insert, hardware, trim/double-sided tape) since the rep came with cheap versions of those.

This rep literally saved me like $500 lol. Everything else on my conversion besides the flares is OEM so I figure the non-functional scoop can be rep. I'll update with photos of the finished product.

How much did the oem scoop insert, hardware, and trim/double-sided tape end up costing?

The scoop insert was about $80 (already more than the rep scoop set) and the hardware was only a couple bucks so under $100 for sure.
