I changed the oil back in May and reset the oil maintenance data to sync with my maintenance plans. Sure enough I got the "maintenance required soon" message at ~ 4800 miles on from that, or at ~ 9800 total miles on the clock a few days ago. I changed the oil, reset the data again and off I went. But now every time I start the truck I still get a "maintenance required" message. I have tried resetting the oil maintenance data and the scheduled maintenance data multiple times and it makes no difference. Is there something weird with hitting 10,000 miles that requires me to reset something else?? This is getting old.

I understand and have completed the maintenance req's. But how to reset the reminder so that it stays off?? I reset the reminders but it keeps popping the message up.

Yes. Just like last time 5000 miles ago.

Maybe I should try disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes.... except I am afraid of what all that might do to my profile and logon, etc.

Well, my Tundra must have enjoyed a good sleep last night because the "maintenance required" warning is gone today, confirmed on 3 different trips. Puzzling... but I am glad it finally seems to be reset. BTW, I did not get around to disconnecting the battery yesterday.

Here we go again. I just changed the oil 2 days ago and reset the maintenance required light. But it keeps coming back. Even after I reset it if I scroll through the views on the center display (non-digital) one screen still shows "maintenance required". I guess I'll just watch it and keep resetting it until it goes away for good again like last time. At least I hope it does. LOL.

    There are two maintenance reminders.
Scheduled maintenance is every 5k miles
Oil maintenance is every 10k miles

the 5k one comes on roughly 500 miles before the 5k set point. the 5k one is tire rotation per the owners manual

personally i wouldnt do 10k oil changes after what i saw watching ADM on CCC video channel
