First time poster, long time lurker.

So, I put a new grill on yesterday to replace the old one on my 24' Limited HV. I forgot to plug in a sensor for the shutters and after about 20 miles, a warning came up stating there was an issue with them. Then the check engine light turned on. After plugging it in and about 10 miles it still hasn't shut off. Maybe a few more miles and it will? If not, any other way to reset this without going to the dealer?

Also, why would the check engine light turn on for the grill shutters? Thought that was interesting.

Bluetooth ODBII adapter and any/most apps can reset your CELs.
    Autozone/etc will check+reset as well.
..........otherwise just disconnect battery cables for a couple of mins and they'll be gone, assuming you have everything plugged back in once reset.

It ended up turning off after driving like 20 miles then power cycling it. All good here! I was a little nervous for a minute there.

Generally OBD II fault codes that trigger check engine light, if problem is intermittent or "fixed" with out scantool or code reader intervention. The light should go out after 3 monitor or drive cycles, but the fault code will be retained in the powertrain module for future scantool diagnostics.
