Living in Phoenix we don't get much rain... Except this past month. I popped my truck bed open to be greeted with soggy wet gear I store under the canister of my Retrax XR. Going through car washes there's never been a drop of water get through the canister, but these recent rains have left my truck bed fairly soaked.

Got it installed by Rack Attack Tempe but they're not responding, and it's a hike to get back to that side of town.

I dried everything out, wiped it down /brushed off the rust, and got some tarp bags to help weather proof the gear to stay in truck bed storage.

    Any other advice?

I know my 2.5 gen has 2 drain lines under the canister. Might check to see if you have open holes there since I don't see drain lines. Its possible the 3rd gen is different but I'd assume the water from the canister goes somewhere..... really, its a wild goose chase until you have a better idea where its leaking. If you have a gap somewhere that would do it, if things aren't adjusted or tightened I could see it leaking. Sorry you had this happen, I get a little water in my bed but I also did with my tri fold.

I’ve driven through monsoons with almost no water getting into my Retrax-covered bed.

@RobertD is on point - looks like Rack Attack owes you two drain tubes and an apology.

I don't see drain tubes? You should've drilled holes slightly larger in the bed to accommodate them. The connections to the bottom of the tub can be a pain. You have to make sure the tabs on both sides are flared out and catch or they will leak.

The circles are where they should be.

I have this unit on mine, and have zero issues.
