Reverse Signal Wire - 2015 Sequoia Limited

Hello! I am trying to connect the reverse signal wire on an aftermarket Pioneer head unit so my rear camera will automatically display in reverse. Can someone please confirm the EXACT location of the reverse signal wire on my 2015 Sequoia Limited (non-JBL) 4x4? I have been following Tundra instructions from the forum, but I recently read something which mentioned looking in the the driver side kick panel for the Sequoia.

Pin #2 - red. On the 28pins harness.
Test with test light or multimeter to confirm.

toyota uses a 6v for the backup camera. So you need to get the backup retaining harness if you are not using the idatalink maestro TO2 interface harness.

 

Thanks for the info and the quick reply! Is the 28 pin harness behind the radio or in a kick panel? If kick panel, which side?

 

Behind radio. should look like this. It is the one on the right with the purple and white stripe wire coming out if it. The purple and white stripe is the reverse wire on the Meastro TO2 harness.
