Went out and started the Falcon, and cleared the windshield. Turned on the wipers and only the drivers side works. It was frozen one time before and I thought it strange, but it worked after that. I'm gonna presume that the knibler bushing failed....

Or the female "splines" on the wiper arm have worn and stripped.

Does that involve pulling that plastic piece out or just unbolting the arm?

I had that happen a long time ago and the nut had loosened on the wiper arm.

Try tightening the nut. The wiper blade isn't splined

Thanks for that. Tried tightening but turns out it's the wiper blade transmission. $475 to fix. Never had that happen before.

Try a salvage yard. It's not something that goes bad that often so you cold find a used one for much less. Ebay us another option.

Actually dealing with this issure right now. Kind of a bummer as I know I would leave my 2008 Tundra wipers on all the time and they would freeze and this would never happen. New wiper arm is $90 at the dealer. Tighening the nut on the old arm is working as of right now, but I don't know how long that will last.
