i want to swap my factory fog lights for something better... I’m a big Rigid fan, but recently came across Cali Raised LEDs on this forum... the price difference is huge, anyone have any experience with Cali Raised?

 watching this thread, I was wondering the same thing after I saw the Cali's. I have never owned Rigid's but have had a few other brands of LED's like ProComp and Hella. Both were much cheaper and when I compared side to side with the Rigids didn't notice much of a difference. I even had a pair of Auxbeams that were dirt cheap as secondary reverse lights on my Jeep and they were great.

Very happy with my Rigid output. Have driving in fog and DSS driving a-pillar and the usable light output is really good.

I agree I love all my rigid lights, they’re just so bright I can’t use them other than as high beams and off road, that’s why I’m looking at upgrading the fogs, looking for more low level light for regular night driving.

Get their SAE street legal pods, heard those are tits with a great cutoff for everyday use!

Rigids are not even in the same ballpark as BD. These things are bright. Wouldnt need so many if you go with them.

Have you ever owned Rigids? I turn mine on and it’s brighter than daylight, reflective signs become blinding... I’ll grab some photos next chance I have.

To answer your question about Cali Raised, I have owned both Rigid and Cali Raised lights. They are pretty close as far as build quality. Rigid might be a small step ahead, but for the money, I'd take Cali Raised. I won't comment on brightness because they are different beam patterns, buy I've been happy with both. I've also owned Black Oak led lights and Auxbeam. Black Oaks were in the same ball park as Rigid and Cali Raised. Auxbeam are obviously very cheap quality, but they get the job done.

If you are wanting to use these on the road with oncoming traffic, get Rigid SAE pattern duallys. They have a very wide flat pattern with a sharp cut-off thay will not blind oncoming drivers. I don't know of any other manufacturers that make this light pattern or a street legal light. There are others that market "road friendly" lights, but they don't have the sharp cut-off the Rigids do. More importantly, Toyota like the SAE Rigid lights enough, that they put them on TRD PROs starting in 2019.
Now don't mistake this as putting down caliraised's product, they are good people with good customer service.

I have been wrong many times before, but I do not believe the OE Pro lights are the same as the SAE based off what I see with the lense. Appears to be a different pattern.

    They said same pattern,
I mentioned lenses appear different - they said no.
    I said yes.
They asked me to email them a picture.
We will see what they say lol

Weird! The lens is cleaner... so where can someone buy those? Toyota?

Correct, or at least aounds correct... housing and light only bought through Toyota. I knew that already about the housing, the light though is new info.

I got ahold of a Pro this morning. Fogs are nothing special, like a repackaged version of the 18 led fogs.
