Which sliders are you guys using? I have ordered the Cali Raised ones since first week of January and they have not shipped yet. I am thinking of cancelling and going with another if it would be faster. I use it as a step and not having it is a pain to get in and out.

Demello / SOB Fab Bumpers, SuperWinch, WKOR sliders, RCI skids, Baja Designs lighting, Billy 6112 and 5160 w/ CB +2, JL Audio with Alpine HU, DD 10" Exhaust, LED headlights, Rago fab mounts, 35” BFG, HAM radio
Generally these are built to order so they aren’t quick. Looks like RCI might have some on the shelf.

Also... if you just want a step, are you really needing sliders? Lot of cheaper more available options if you just want a step (running boards).
Just throwing that out there too

Agree on the steps but I have seen some steps that are badly damage and does need to be replaced. I rather have the sliders as they are mounted wholely onto the frame.

    RCI.

I however (stupid me) ordered some Rocky Road Outfitters through a second party, big mistake, in August and still don't have them. Not by the fault of Rocky Road, they have been awesome and got them into this production cycle, so soon I will have them.

I should have just got the RCI while they were on sale over Christmas.

Did you ever get the Rocky Road sliders? How do they mount, not much info on that on their site.

    Thanks,
    Kirk

Not impressed. On their website they don't go into how they actually attach to the frame. Well it's because they don't. They are just heavy duty steps that attach to the pinch weld at the factory location. They are NOT sliders. I waited months for these and I am kinda pissed.

I really should have bought RCI.

Might be worth reviving this thread and providing your feedback. Help the next person who is considering Rocky Road Sliders, maybe some pics since they don't have them (showing how they attach) and it didn't see any on a quick search of the forum.

Very good to know and super helpful, thanks. I will take these off of my list. Back to RCI, CBI or Ironman. (Not sure about these) still need to see if White Knuckle offroad makes them for the Crewmax 6.5 bed. Had those on my LX470 and dug them.

I went with Westcott Design sliders and they are stout!

In the second photo I scraped all along them as I dropped down about 5ft in Death Valley. Hard to tell in the photo

I had the RCI slider and loved them. Wish I could have pulled them off my totaled Tundra, but one was damaged.
