Rock warrior Grille for 2013 platinum

Was thinking of swapping g out grille on my2013 platinum. Would the color matched rock warrior look good or would it seem out of place with the chrome on front bumper?
Anyone swapped out on a platinum truck? Mine is white

 

I did mine, I am Silver Sky Metallic.

I still need to change my mirror caps and door handles to Silver Sky, but for now l think
it looks good.

 

That looks great but I didn't think the Platinum or Rock Warrior came in the Silver Sky paint. Did you paint your grille surround?

 

You're right, I bought a Magnetic Gray from Roman at Toyota of Cool Springs and had it painted Silver Sky Metallic. I had a bunch of work done to the front end after I hit a deer last December, so I had the paint shop that did the work paint it for me. I installed it, kind of a PIA, but I got it done.

 

Thanks for that insider info. That makes sense to recolor an already painted one versus dealing with the chrome.

 

I wish I could tell you that was my idea. It was all the paint shop, they told me to get one already painted so they could prep it. I literally bought a brand new Rock Warrior Grill and gave the guts away and painted the surround and installed the platinum grill inside.

 

Looks good. I was thinking of installing the rock warrior grille as it came but might look into that option also
