Rokblokz Mudflaps

I installed my RokBlokz on a 2018 and wanted to pass along some great news. I was hesitant about getting these because I’ve been told the side exhaust melts the mud flaps. I emailed RokBlokz and they have a new plastic formula that does not melt! I also was concerned that my tires would rub on them since they did on my stick mud flaps. They do not rub at all on these! Lastly, they are just wide enough that now my doors stay clean with +25 offset wheels! Highly recommend.

 

I like them. Had them on my 20204runner Pro. Much nicer than factory. Do you have a side shot of your truck to see the full pic? I’m afraid if you do not remove the factory ones they will start to mark into the paint. I was planning on getting these.

 

Ill take a pic today.....after 3 years with the stock flaps, the paint is barely rubbed underneath....not even noticeable. However, on my 21 Pro 4Runner, I removed the stock flaps at about 500 miles and the paint was significantly rubbed off underneath!

 

Thanks and good to know about the rub on the tundra!!

 

I think the difference is the tundra is painted metal with the rubberized coating on the bottom half while the 4Runner is painted plastic flares.

 

I’ve wondered if I should have gone this route for my +25 wheels instead of fender flares. Do you live somewhere were you get snow? Wonder how much snow/slush/sand would get blocked from hitting the side of the truck by these.

 

I just installed, so hard to say. But normally the smallest puddle will splash on my doors. Today, I hit the puddle, no door splashing! On my 4Runner the Rokblokz have eliminated the constant chipping on the doors from dirt roads.
