Does anyone know if the TRD Pro racks from the 2019/2020 4runners will work on the Tundras? There is one on Craigslist that is a good deal.

I am thinking there might be a width issue. When roof racks are mounted, I assume the screwed in areas tend to be more robust areas of the roof.

    Thx

Yep, not the same width. Typically drilled into the rain gutter.

You should search this site, there was a recent post about the installation of a roof rack. Mounting locations are critical as there are air bags, wiring, etc that can easily be damaged if you drill in the wrong location.

I wanted to go with a hard mounted roof rack. Ended up ordering an INNO off of autoanything.com. It's the clamp style that clamps onto the roof/door jams. Locking and perfect for my fishing kayak. And no holes drilled. They had a 10% discount that may still apply. $443 shipped to my door.
