Rough Country Bumper

I am looking to purchase Rough Country's Rear LED Bumper & LED Front Bumper. The bumper is affordable compared to some competitors and it looks good. I am wondering if anyone has either/both of these installed and how do you like them? Also, does it weigh the front of your truck down at all? I currently have mine leveled (2018 SR5 TSS Black). Can you install it your self, did you have a professional install it and how much did that cost. Looking for much information as possible, also include any pictures you may have as well.

Great bumpers and quality for the price! Absolutely a project you can tackle in your garage as everything bolts right to factory locations. Wiring harnesses included with switches for in-cab but you may want to wire differently. On my front bumper the outter pods are wired to toggle from my OEM fog switch, Center light bar is on a remote (blazer 6500 I believe) and the rear led bumpers are on the OEM switch for the cargo light in the bed.

 

I have rear bumper. Pretty easy to put on. Directions at that come with it are good. Look online for color pics to help. The liscence plate lights work ok. They have to be wired through plate. Those lights are easy to break and wires are flimsy. I love the look on the pickup and the side steps have been nice.

It will add some weight. I have addicted desert design front bumper on so it evened the weight and made it ride more comfortable.

I got the Barricade bumper from Extreme Terrain. Similar to the Rough Country bumper.

The lights are surprisingly bright for being lights that are included with the bumper

 

Looks great! I was shocked at the output of the LEDs. I ended up tinting the putter cubes amber.

 

Thanks for the input bud. I thought about looking for amber overlays as these will be turning on everytime I use my marker lights (fog light mod). What'd you buy?
