Anyone here relocate their RSCA OFF and VSC OFF switches? I want to move them over below the radio.
Other than just adding wire, any other suggestions?
My plan is to add in wire by soldering and using glue lined heat shrink for protection and added stability in the joints. Of course, the standard disconnect battery before cutting wires...

I would be super hesitant to cut up your wiring harness just to do that.

    Alot of them
That, and the switch areas all have different cutouts.

That's a very good point. I wanted to move my Tow/Haul switch and was surprised to learn that myself!

I moved all of the above mentioned switches and have had no problems for several years. The different cut outs can be used by trimming a small amount of material off of the switch with a utility knife. Lengthen wire by what ever means match your comfort level.

Anything can be done with enough precise patience.

Figure out what blank you want each switch to go into, you can shave down the side of them and get them to fit.

Find matching gauge wire and solder/shrink wrap your connections and you will be fine.

FYI ethernet cable works well. It is almost identical in gauge, has 8 colored wires and comes in a sealed wire which makes running it a piece of cake.

I have moved a bunch of my factory switches in three different tundras to put the ones I used most within reach. Moving the infrequently used ones to the harder to reach locations.

I just hid those 3 switches behind the panel. They’re still connected but I never use them. I have other switches in it’s place.

    Thanks for the replies.
I should have some Ethernet cable in my wire bin, I'll check it out.
Im not overly concerned about cutting and extending wires, not the first time I've done it.
Thanks for the info on switch fitment. Didn't know they were different shapes. Good thing to know beforehand so I don't get annoyed when they don't fit first time.... I'll be sure to figure out where to shave them down.
If I could, I'd just hide them. But, I have to use them every now and then. I really don't like the idea of getting smacked in the side of the head with an airbag if I take a side hill to get by equipment....
