    Hello,
Looking for some advise. Just purchased a new white Tundra TRD PRO. While giving her a bath today, her first one. I noticed in front of the hood scoop rusty colored specs on the paint. Would this be iron deposits from the shipping process? Or something else. Any advise on how to get them off? Thanks

Sounds like it’s iron particles from brakes. Must be from other cars if it’s on your hood though. Try hittin it with clay bar.

This x 2…….I had the same issue. Another member recommended iron x and a good wash and it worked like a charm

It's called fallout. My white GTP had it when I bought it....the dealer actually had their body shop get it off.

I ordered some ironx. Will it go ok to get the plastic hood scoop sprayed with it? Or do I need to cover the scoop. Thanks for the help.

Have the truck be in the shade for a few hrs, so its cool when you spray it on. You don't want it to dry on the paint.

It's called rail dust, comes from the train ride. Most noticed on new white vehicles of course. See your dealer, they will get it corrected quickly.

Iron X is great I used to use it all the time. Now I just use Sonax wheel cleaner since I have it for my wheels anyway. Works the same way
