Samsung S22 Ultra Wireless charging

Has anyone got the wireless charging to work on an S22 Ultra with a case on?

 

yes. it worked but it was finnicky.

Same as everyone else , finicky. When it does work it jus holds the current charge

 

toyota wireless chargers are really weak since (if i remember correctly) they only employ 2 coils instead of using 3 like most aftermarket wireless chargers.

 

Im going to sell mine if anyone is interested, its new in box never installed.

 

My S22 Ultra seems to work fine with my 23', with a tough armor case. The phone is usually 100% charged when I take it out.

 

i am just guessing here, but you are probably not using wireless aa/carplay to get it to charge up to 100%? from what others have said, wireless aa/carplay the charger isnt keeping up.

 

I will say when i changed to Iphone 14 with the a thick case and lens cover for camera , it loses connection easily and won't charge , if out of case it charges ok , but is prone to stop charging when phone moves around too much . It so bad with new phone and cover i just go to plug in charging .

 

Starts and stops charging constantly, even when I'm parked. Useless charger.

 

My 1794 using S22 Ultra with a commuter case charges most of the time, while using AA w/music playing from it - but, what I have noticed, is in the bottom of the charging tray area, there is a small lip - if I put the phone in there, and miss the lip, no charging - also, sometimes I tilt the phone to 11 o'clock, and it seems to charge better. I also have my sunglass case in there, and have that sit on top of it in the bottom of the tray, so it's holding it in place... so maybe that's why it charges ok. ?

 

Update: Moved my S23 as far left as possible and it actually charges.
