Scan gauge code

Anyone happen to have trans temp code to enter in scan gauge for trans temp.

Scangauge has a nice copy feature. In my case my typo transfered to the second and neither of them worked! Once squared away I am golden. It was nice this morning to see the truck thermometer agreed with the coolant, the transmission pan and torque converter.

 

Do most guys order it direct from ScanGauge, or Amazon?

Only reason I ask is because some seem to have purchased outside of Scangauge.com and have gotten the older software versions.

 

You can send it in for a reflash for like 10 bucks i think.

 

I detest Amazon, therefore I ordered mine direct. And believe it or not buying direct is always similar in price. But that’s all part of Amazons scam IMHO.

*EDIT* I ordered my first one through Autozone and the packaging looked like it was 20 years old. Returned that and just ordered direct like I was going to do from the get go…

 

Order if from them direct. I talked to them a while back and she said they always ship with the latest firmware.

Yup, that’s what I’m going to do, heard about the autozone, on the shelf for 15 years story, and Amazon doesn’t always ship the latest firmware. So for an extra $10 I’m going to order direct

 

Does anyone knows if a mount like this would hinder or cause issues with a deploying side curtain airbag?

Airbag and also theft. Putting the scan guage in the window is asking for a broken window and a pawned scan guage. That said, mine is on the dash just about mirror height and the reflection in the window at night kinda sucks. Gotta keep weighing the other options I guess. Good luck!

Can Anyone confirm fitment?

 

Works well. I went with two of these and have both a Scangauge 2 and a Scangauge E mounted at the top edge of my windshield.

Slight mod to the mount and used these to attach to the glass:

will the blendmount work on a 2020 auto-dim mirror?

 

Not 100% sure I only checked it for fitment and I didn't like the location. I ended up preferring the mounts to move them to a better location.

 

I just ordered a blendmount, we’ll see how it fits and I’ll report back if I have any clearance issues.

 

I have one in my tool box. I'll play with a couple options and see what I come up with. I keep stuff out of sight...thieves suck!!

 

I may have misunderstood your question. I have the auto dimming and the mount fits fine, you can adjust the ring size. I don't recall if it interfered with any of the mirrors function. I had it on the mirror a few days before moving them I just don't recall if they blocked any sensors.
