I am thinking of upgrading to a Tundra from my Tacoma but I’m wondering if the comfort is any better. My Tacoma TRD feels like I’m sitting on a board on long trips. I have to add cushioning to make my seats more comfortable. After reading consumer reports, I discovered that the Tundra is not much better than the Tacoma in regards to bucket seating. Are there more options for after market seating that comply with airbag safety and warranty?

    Welcome!

I added a set of Wet Okole seat covers, they are air bag compliant and they do improve comfort.

My 2015 seats are crazy hard but by the time it is a problem and my butt falls asleep on long trips I need to stop for gas anyway so it sort of balances out for me!

In contrast my 1st Gen seats are and were very comfy and I drive across the country a lot.

I can not imagine what they were thinking when they made them so hard?
