Lately my wife has been complaining that the seats arent very comfortable on longer rides in my SR5 (basic cloth manual seats). Wondering if there are seat upgrade/replacement or mods that others have done?

Seats are perfectly fine for me, but I can also fall asleep on a rock so I will taker her complaints for what they are.

I will admit my '20 Tacoma had the cloth seats and they were very stiff and uncomfortable on long trips. That's another reason I bit the bullet on a platinum Tundra with the leather which are much more comfortable. Sounds like she just needs a butt pad. I've heard good things about premium seat covers like katzskins or a similar brand that has additional padding underneath and can add heat if you want but they are spendy. Or try to find a wrecked tundra at a pick/pull with leather or softex seats but you probably don't have the wiring needed.

My Limited softex are terrible, in the process of tracking down a Katskinz rep in my area at this time.
Wish I had bought the Plat.

My wife says the tundra is the most comfortable vehicle she's ever road-tripped in.

Body sizes and shapes matter, though, and we're both pretty slender. It's definitely not the lay-z-boy experience I've had in some of the domestics.

Honestly I'm really happy with it, so I'm not sure why she hates it. She said she wished it had more support (maybe lumbar) but also it felt "stiff".
I will look at Katzkins, but I don't think that will do anything for the stiffness.

Not sure how long you've been married but you'll get used to saying: "My wife has been complaining about..." Or better yet, use it to convince her y'all should trade in for a Platinum.

To each his own. I love mine. Not for folks who like super soft or squishy

Not sure on squishy/softness or lumbar on yours, we have the leather, but we got SO much more comfort just adding Seat Jackers to naturally recline them more...we felt like we were falling off the front before, and I had sciatic leg pain from it.
