Does anybody know what filter these are and does prevent water from going in? I removed the inner liner because of rubbing from adding bigger tires. So pump went bad and when I removed it had lots of water. Will this work?
    TIA

I would say it is very dependent on location and position especially without the mud guard.

Just think of all the directions water can go plan to make some kind of guard or extend the vent higher up. Time to get creative!

Has anyone done the filter relocate on the secondary air injection pump for the 07-21 tundras? I just purchased a 2021 tundra sr5, and I just came from a 2016 4Runner and a 2015 Tacoma before that. I did the uni air filter mod as insurance for both those vehicles. It seems our trucks have two pumps, which are located behind the passenger side inner fender. I found one company that makes a reallocation kit (https://sdhqoffroad.com/products/07...uilt-secondary-air-pump-intake-relocation-kit) … but almost $400 for a couple filters and some hose seems outrageous to me. Coming from the 4Runner and Tacoma, the uni air filter mod is one of the most common first mode that people do due to how cheap and easy it is. Is this mod as popular on the tundras? Or has anyone purchased the kit above?
