Over the weekend, I installed this Vevor 8kw diesel heater in my garage. It is pretty sweet for only $89. It is a 12v system, so I had to add an inverter from Amazon to hook it to the 110v. I added a flange into my back garage door for the exhaust. Easy. It is also easily disconnected and is super portable as a heater for my canvas wall tent when I go west. It would be really cool for overlanding. There is a great you tube video of a guy using one in his truck bed set up.
