    Need some help here.
Bought a 2001 Sequoia. I love it….except for one thing. I’m going through brake pads on the rear like they’re butter. No you don’t understand…..I’m talking a set of pads every 2-4 weeks. I put new calipers on thinking they were seizing up but the problem didn’t go away. In fact, it seemed to get worse. All parts coming from NAPA. I would love to keep the truck but I’m not putting pads on this thing 1-2 times per month. Obviously something is wrong. Any ideas?

That's an odd one. I would be looking at things that can cause pressure to stay in the system in the rear. Maybe a clogged brake line? Or a bad master cylinder? Not sure if a bad ABS pump/module could cause this too?

Also while it seems counter intuitive, you might get more feedback in the 1st gen tundra forum. They are way more active. Just be sure to let them know you have a sequoia because there are some differences in the brake system compared to the tundra.

Holy cow, are they not glowing red hot when you get done with a long drive? How's your gas mileage with stuck brakes?
