    Hi everyone

I'm planning to buy a Sequoia TRD PRO 2021 Lunar Rock with 44,000 miles in 50k.

Conditions are average right now, engine is solid. Some scratches here and there, but that it.

    Your thoughts

Photos would help. Rust? Service history? Multiple previous owners?

Otherwise, if you can afford $50k, and that's the vehicle you want.... What are you asking, and why are you asking?

Wife drives a 22 TRD PRO, she loves it. I coated the frame with Noxudol 1600 and 700 (cavity wax) inside the channels while it was brand new. Inspected a few days ago, it was immaculate after 2 winters in Boston. Going to reintroduce transmission cooler soon as she wants to tow a camper next summer.

Worth is a subjective term. Things are only "worth" what someone will pay for it.

If I were in the market, and the vehicle was rust free, had a clear and appropriate service history, no accidents, seemingly well maintained, drove well on the test drive, then I would definitely pay $50k for a Gen 2 Sequoia pro with <50k miles.

One year ago, in 2023, I paid $58k for the Army Green 2020 TRD PRO with 38k miles. We love this car. Just returned from a 700 mile r/t, towing a Casita travel trailer. No transmission cooler, and so far, no need for one. I think $50K is a very solid deal for a good, low mile 5.7L TRD PRO.

I did the undercoating with WoolWax on ours. Don't recommend the factory-authorized service that did it, near Taunton. Half-assed work; won't go into details. The product, however, has excellent reputation. Will see what it looks like after this winter.

Thank you. We verified the Sequoia with my mechanic and we submit the loan. We can't wait.

I love my Sequoia. I have a 2021 Trd pro got it with 36,000 miles less than a year and I already have 55,000 miles on it. it’s absolutely joy to drive. It’s a little rough in traffic, especially around the 25 mile an hour mark just not smooth. The skid plate makes a bunch of noise when it’s around 30 to 45°. And obviously it’s a big 8 and it’s thirsty. But it’s my dream truck. Also love the simple interior I wish new Toyotas would just keep it simple.
