I just commented on this a couple of days ago about how I had all four of my tires replaced by Toyota only a couple of weeks ago due to premature wear. I know this subject is not new but TRD PRO owners be aware it’s now official.

Does anyone have the Specs that this service campaign details? Going to purchase new tires soon and want to ensure that the alignment is not set to this factory setting causing the tire wear.

So what are the "Subject vehicles?" I see you reference TRD Pro owners but does it include any other trim levels?

When I spoke to Toyota about my 2023 Limited-HV TRD OffRoad they claimed the service campaign was not applicable to my VIN

Didn't even get 20,000 out of the wild peaks that came on my SR5. Not applicable to me either.

From what I have found it's the toe setting from the factory is the issue. I just want to know what the good specs for alignment are to ensure my new tires don't get shredded.

You guys need to probably file a complaint on the National Highway site, maybe can get it expanded.

Took my 2024 Platinum/Off Road Package to dealer and the Toe and Camber were out of specifications. They adjusted and noted "feathering" on the tires, ie premature wear. My Vin was NOT part of the tire recall so I have called Toyota Care. Toyota care told me to call Tire manufacturer. I have since contacted the dealer again as well as Toyota Corporate for resolution. Will keep everyone posted. I have the alignment before and after as well as notes from technician. Toyota needs to do the right thing here as the vehicle only has 5000 miles on it.

My '23 Platinum has the same wear on the outsides. When I mentioned to the service department they said "That's only a problem on the TRD Pros".
You can see for yourself the wear is there but they act like it's not a problem.
Besides the stack of recall letters I've got, I guess I'll just add it to the squeaky brakes, air conditioner that's not cold, wind noise from the inadequate seals, and the numerous other things that are not recalls but are wrong with this disaster of a truck.

I noticed a lot of brake squeak as well, they discovered faulty brake pads and replaced them. Cleared right up.

Same here. I got 25k out of mine. Had to buy some Coopers. I plan on taking the truck in to have them fix the alignment. I have a 1794, but I got the TRD 3” lift, so hoping they will honor the 3 year 36,000 mile warranty on the lift.

Wearing out the outside edge of the front tires due to the Toe setting from the factory.

I can see why the Pros are killing tires fast. Here are the Toyota specs for 2022.

    https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2022/MC-10210384-9999.pdf

The Pro has a very aggressive Toe at almost 0.6 degrees. The 4x4 are only 0.3 degrees.
Combine this with some positive camber and you have a recipe for worn tires.

Toyota must have bought in on a rubber manufacturer. Record profits on the way.:burnrubber:
