    Howdy,

I'm 5'4". I ride with the seat as low as it will go. Bad back means I have limited comfortable positions and raised up aint one of them! Even if I raise up to look it's not a good view. They are simply way too big IMO. These side mirrors create more of a blind spot than they help me avoid!

Are there any aftermarket options for smaller mirrors that don't block front side views?

Too little information. What mirrors do you currently have? Smallish mirrors for sporty look, big Moose ears for towing?

    Too many, but not enough....
Not sure about aftermarket mirrors, but you should be able to adjust to where you need I think.

You mentioned a bad back and seating positions, you may benefit from trying the seat jackers from Desert Does It. They lift the front of the seats an inch with blocks and it made a world of difference for me as far as comfort. Numerous members on here with back issues and seat comfort complaints have seemed to benefit from them greatly. They are less than $100 and easy to install. One of the best mods imo.

Highly doubt there's an aftermarket option for smaller mirrors that'll fit for the Tundra.

It might be easier to raise the seat up and buy pedal extenders....but I have no idea if that would work.

Bad back is also an underlying issue for something else along your posterior chain.

Could get a front facing camera to see past your blind spot. Most cameras have a fisheyed view. When I’m driving through an area with lots of pedestrians, I turn on my cameras, cuz i can’t see them fools.

At 5'5", I have the same issue. Just have to be careful, the mirrors can completely block an entire car from my view. Not just Tundra, I've had this with other trucks too. If the mirrors are large enough to be useful, they're going to obstruct my view. I must look like a weirdo at times moving around trying to be sure I'm not about to squish one of them "smart" cars, but it is what it is.

I do wish more vehicles offered power adjustable pedals like my 2010 Ram did. Those were nice!

I'm 5'10" and definitely have a pretty significant blind spot on the passenger side when making a right turn. I'm not sure it's the size of the mirrors so much as their placement.

I've gotten used to it. I just have to lean forward a bit as I make the turn.

LMAO... I've had this issue for the last 13 years... Them moose (tow) mirrors make shit disappear. I have to rock back and forth to ensure I didn't lose something behind them... but yes, cars, trucks people and all kinds of shit disappear behind them... and I am 5'2 for context....

Core, glutes, psoas, hip dysfunction....the list is long. Started seeing a functional movement specialist about 2 months ago, and back pain, for the first time in 15 years, is diminished and gone....to derail the thread completely.

I’m also 5’4” and almost t-boned someone because the mirrors block my view to the left. There is no seat position that seems to help. I’ve had my new truck 4 months and thinking of selling it before I have an accident.

I know it seems counterintuitive but I put OEM tow mirrors on (because I tow, not for the blind spot issue) and found I can actually see a little better with those. I’m 5’3” and the stocks melded with the pillars and I couldnt see dick around them. Theres a gap between the tow mirror and pillar I can peek around now. Blown L5-S1, I hear ya on the back bs..

I have a 2019 Tundra and think that the visibility is terrible. I'm 6 ft and my old Silverado and Suburban had much better visibility. I think the issue is mainly that the outside mirrors are positioned too high. The
inside rearview mirror is positioned slightly too low. I constantly have to duck down slightly to see under my inside mirror and crane my neck up to get a decent visual over my passenger outside mirror. Throw in the bulky "A-Pillar" and it's difficult to see. I would like to see Toyota lower the outside mirrors 2 inches and raise the inside mirror an inch. If you notice, the bottom of the inside mirror and the top of the outside mirror are nearly at the same level.

No sense complaining about it. You can move the rear view mirror wherever you want it. 20 minutes and a $4 tube of special glue from napa.
