Noticed a bulge in the sill protection "decal" (not a decal really) and when I investigated, it had become unadhered. How would you recommend getting it stuck back on? Epoxy, super glued, silicone product???

I’d probably just order a new one and replace it. Keep the old one on until the new one gets in and clean the area really well before you put the new one on.

I'd fully remove it, clean the sill thoroughly and apply a new sill protector. Epoxy and super glue will damage the paint down the line, the silicone might hold but probably wouldn't sit as flat as the rest of the protector, and no guarantee the rest won't keep peeling.

If you don’t want to buy new ones an good option is to clean the sill and adhesive really well for any debris and then you can use a heatgun to soften the adhesive and put it back together.

While the heat gun would work, that sounds miserable. I managed to get a spec of sand under one of mine when I was installing and the bubble it creates is def noticeable (at least to me).

For the price, I'd just start over with new and never look back. I just don't truly know how you'd ever get both surfaces clean without removing 3/4 of the adhesive.

Yep, ordered a set ($41) and picking it up at dealer tomorrow. How do I get the old one off - will a hair drier work (don't have a heat gun)?

Hairdryer, park it in the sun with the door open, whatever works. If you are patient and peel slowly, i bet you'll get it off in one piece without much issue. It's already started. You can also try an IPA solution to help as you are peeling. It dissolves the glue.

Hair dryer will work. Goo Gone also works very well on adhesive, helped me much when I de-badged. After the Goo Gone, clean again with Isopropyl alcohol.

I replaced mine with a set of Bushwhacker rocker panel and door sill guards. HUGE improvement! Those "stickers" from Toyota are an expensive joke and nothing more.

Here's a general picture. Very similar for a Tundra. Don't exactly remember my source (been awhile), maybe directly from Bushwhacker. Just search the web a bit and you can see pics and find a source. It's a four piece set that attaches with 3M automotive mounting tape. The seam is concealed by the doors. I think I added a few inches of tape to their design, pretty simple and a huge improvement to the truck. Cost me about $150.
