Anybody remove this from the roof yet? Wondering what my options are for filling the hole that must be there for the antenna cable.

Wanting to do this to put a roof rack.

Modify the rack with spacers to make it higher.
    I like my Sirius feed.
I got em down to three bucks a month for the complete package.

Yeah, to each their own on Sirius… I prefer to stream. Got it thinking the more advanced head unit would be a lot better than it turned out to be. Will be replacing that with aftermarket once I have my patience reserves built back up.

Sirius/XM sounds better streaming than thru the satellite anyway..
I have a Sirius/XM tuner for my Kenwood HU, I never use it anymore.
I stream it with my phone thru wireless Carplay now.

    Good luck with removing it..

Just my luck. So do the roof racks come modded or will I have to customize?

I'm not familiar with them. I just know that the 20 and up shark fin antennas are satellite, FM, and I think GPS as well.

Three dollars a month for one year, then up to regular price?

Or three dollars a month unlimited time?

Three bucks for a year and the guy said after that we can redo the deal.
    That's my kind of deal.
They are hurting do to streaming I'm guessing.
There are things on there that I like very much.
Three bucks a month I can afford no issue.
You just have to be firm with them.

I'm thinking that Hi end audio is limited in a car or truck and I say this from the sharp side being an Audiophile since the late 70s.
Much easier for the wife to use Sirius while driving too, trust me.

We use Sirius in other areas where the music is just background for activities going on (i.e., boating, shop, parties, etc.) so the push-method works well. I’d rather just pull the music or podcasts I want when in a focused, car environment. I find myself hitting the skip button and expecting the next song in that same “playlist”, but of course Sirius is built into different channels so you get Mozart when all you wanted was the next Dave Matthews track.

I hate Dave Matthews. Never could understand why all the women would go nuts over his stuff.

Watch out for your airbags when installing your roof rack too.

@Nowhereman, as with so many things, THIS is what we must endure for the fairer gender. I would say, however, the music production and Tim Reynolds’ talent should not be overlooked due to the sound of one dying duck.
