Added a little audio to the Tundra. I swapped all the factory speakers to Skar Audio last year. Front door is a 6.5” component set, which we flush mounted the tweeter above the door speaker. Rear doors are 6.5” coaxial (I’ll be swapping them for a component set next month). We put a 1000w 4 channel amp on all of that. 2-10” DVC subs, on a 1200w mono amp. All controlled by a Skar eq we mounted under the front jump seat. And we kept the factory radio. I can say I’m extremely happy with the way it turned out. Crystal clear, ear splitting loud, with enough bass to irritate the neighbors if I want too

Yeah Skar makes makes some decent speakers. I don't have any myself but my neighbor and I use them on many builds for people that want a cheap and good sounding system. On my brother 2019 Camry XSE we will be installing Skar audio 2000w mono and one 10 inch DDX DVC in. Custome ported box and ported thru the back head rest area.

Sounds like a awesome system!! I may do another one one day when I get my tundra pro. Have had a lot of awesome systems over the years. Nothing like having a good system to listen too. The only thing I will do differently this time I will keep my factory headunit. All my systems I changed the headunit. Not this time. I have a great audio place to do the install. They have done all mine.

yeah you can’t beat them for the money. I have a little more tuning to do for that “perfect” sound, but I’m extremely happy with the way it turned out. I am thinking about swapping the subs out for 4-8’s on that 2000w amp that you’re talking about

It definitely is! I love having a nice sound system. I kept my factory head unit too. No need to change it. That’s one reason we used the eq. To boost the output signal going to the amps
