    Hi all,

I've used Snap Finance in the past. I want to use them again as I know I'm qualified for $5k, however I need an online shop that I can purchase both the wheels/tires/lift that I want. Anything over I'll pay cash (I know some will say "no way you can get everything for $5K). Any suggestions for online suspension/wheel shops that use them? Thanks.

I'm 45 at don't mind financing. I appreciate the advice. I think it's knowing what's an acceptable loss in interest or how quickly you pay it back. I think we set standards today on what is acceptable to finance and pay interest for, such as a vehicle or a home. My father would never buy a new vehicle because he said "As soon as you drive off the lot you lose $5k, let someone else take the hit and buy used". Not necessarily true in today's market, but what his rules were may not apply to everyone. I also don't gamble. Some people lose more in a weekend in Vegas than I would in interest in 36 months financing $3k. Just my version of "acceptable lose". Thanks again.

I wasn't trying to draw you into a debate. I find your response argumentative and quasi insulting at best, retorting nearly every comment I made in my reply. You called me a kid, told me I don't know anything about finances, and made a back-handed remark at my screen name, which was given to me by my deceased father and is a type of catfish. Moving on.

Anybody else have more positive and less toxic comments with regard to my initial question? Many thanks.

FWIW, you may be able to do a lift, rims and tires for 5k for sure. However, you will need to shop carefully and demand discounts on your purchases, plus install the lift components yourself unless you have other free labor sources. As for financing, lots of companies finance things, but I would look for a 0% for 6 months plan and pay it off during that time. Good luck!

    Alot of them
Just a thought...a lot of the tire/wheel shops online offer financing options. Discount Tire often has 0% on their card. You could also look into vendors that offer multiple items as well as wheel packages such as Toytec, Wheelers Offroad, etc.

If I was 45 and had to finance wheels and tires, I’d reevaluate some of my life choices. Good luck in your search.

“Interest rates for personal loans range from 5% to as high as 100 to 200% or more if you have poor or no credit.”

    https://snapfinance.com/how-online-financing-works

I’d gladly loan you $5k for up to a 100% to 200% return.

Didn't mean to hurt your feelings..:(
Wouldn't think someone that goes by Bullhead wouldn't be so sensitive..
To me, you are a kid, so there is that.
To your father's passing, God bless..

    Being in debt sucks.
    Being debt-free is awesome.

I'd bet you could get a spacer lift pretty cheap, although not many here would recommend them.
A quite a few guys here use BILSTEIN 5100 for lift/levels, they aren't that much.
I'm running BILSTEIN 61122/5160s but they are pretty stiff.

You would save a lot of financed money installing it all yourself.
If not the front shocks, the rear shocks are pretty easy.
I'd suggest Toytec shackles if you need to lift the rear instead of blocks.
The shackles are easy to install as well.

Charge away my friend, someone has to keep finance companies in business..
    Good luck to you..

And after reading all that... welcome to the forum!

I don't care what or why you do anything. My advice would be to focus on the lift with the 5k you want to use. That way you can get a decent one that will last you a long time. Then if your willing/able to, look into tire shops that offer 6 months no interest and get your wheels and tires through them. Most lifts don't require new wheels and tires unless you're going extremely tall. I purchased my lift for just under 7k installed but the shop I went through was offering free install if I financed. We ran the numbers and I would have saved like 200 bucks. IMO it wasn't worth the hassle of having to remember to make another monthly payment but there are definitely some perks to going that route.

Sorry that you're getting flack for this post. To each their own. But I'd check out customoffsets.com you will be surprised at what you can get away. 5k is not out of the realm of possible at all. 1700 for a lift and maybe some 20x12's for 1300 then you're looking at around 400 each for tires. That's a 7inch pro comp lift, rims and 35's for under 5k. Ask me how I know lol....

Build your credit and take care man. I can help with questions if ya want.

To the OP, you should definitely shop around. For example, Goodyear offers 0% for 6 or maybe it is 12 months on their card. IMO any place that even advertises "100 to 200% or more" interest rate sounds like a poor financial decision to me.

And while I do agree that it rules to not be in debt, borrowing is not always a bad decision. I borrowed some money for my Tundra because the APR was stupid low (1.49%) and my cash is earning way more these days in the stock market. (But I still paid it off early, because it rules to not be in debt.)

two people have a already mentioned what I would suggest which are ToyTec Lifts or CustomOffSets but I guess it comes down to what you for lift height and wheel and tire size or stance. ToyTec will offer some great options along the line of there 3" Ultimate lift (don't skimp add diff drop and shackles) and carry more of your off roader rim styles and sizes same with tires. Custom OffSets will be more of your Taller pavement princess stuff and larger rims and tires.

I've used Snap Finance and highly recommend them IF you pay it off in the 100 day same as cash option. Never pay interest cause that's where they (any loan provider) screw you. That being said, they'll let you change your due date and their customer service is top notch. Most of your offroad shops use them as well as Affirm. Check your local shops first cause you might be surprised...
