Looking for snow chain or cable suggestions on brands & placement and experience to be in compliance and prepared if necessary ... mine’s a 2020 TRD PRO and this is my First Toyota 4x4

I’m in OR longer than I expected & I’m sure to meet up with some inclement weather on my drive across through ND to NY & eventually down South maybe.

I have Laclede cam lock chains. I also carry some of the rubber snubbers for additional tightening. I don't think they'll fit on the front tires, I need to install them and take a look. Pretty sure there isn't enough clearance from the UCA on the stock TRD rims. A different offset may allow enough clearance.

If you really want to get in deep, the V-bar type chains really offer some bite. FWIW, I typically don't use chains on the way in unless I have someone else with me. I use them to get out after I get stuck in 4WD. I don't have a winch though.

Are you coming back to Or? If so buy at Les Schwab. If you don’t use them you can take them back for a full refund in the spring.
As for type I don’t know which to recommend or why. My last Tundra had 35’s and I only had 1 choice chains.
