Looking to get a soft topper for my cement tundra. Was looking for some advice or recommendations for which route to go, and if you could post a pic of your set up. I was thinking of going the hard top route, but I like the versatility of being able to remove the topper and store it easily. I will be camping with it and will probably use a rack system for my surfboards/ other equipment on top with a decking system inside.

If you are planning to run a rack most of the time, what benefit are you wanting from the soft topper? If most stuff can be in the bed or on the rack, why not just run a retractable cover compatible with the rack?

From what I've seen, most folks buy SofTopper brand and seem to really like it.

That’s what I would be looking for. Easy on and off, retractable and compatible with a rack

Got a simple Gator roll up tonneau that is mounted to the bed rail system in my truck. Rarely use it, but it is there when I need it and it isn't affected by my headache rack or custom bed/tailgate rails either. Like $120 and it will keep things dry in a rainstorm. Zero security though as it could be cut with a butter knife. That said, it is durable and has lasted years.

For a topper, check out the FLATED Air-Topper CAP Inflatable Truck Topper. It's so easy to inflate, install, deflate, and store. There's a video on our web page that shows the Topper installed on a Tacoma- it's pretty impressive.

If you're looking for a tonneau cover, that's the best route to add racks. The TruXedo Pro X15 TS Soft Roll-Up Tonneau Cover w/ T-Slot Rails include integrated T-slot rails that you can easily add racks to. Roll-up the cover for full bed access, or remove it and leave the rails on.
