I lost Toyota navigation when I let the Drive Connect subscription lapse. Car Play or Android auto still works though for Google maps.

I have not used Google maps ever so I assume you then would need to plug phone in instead of putting in charge cradle? Sorry for questions I am 83 yrs. Old and this is all new to me. 2024 Tundra Platium Crewmax 4x4 - Off Road 3 “ lift 35 ‘s

You should be able to use the wireless connection between your phone and truck then use Google Maps or Apple Maps. It would display on the big screen in your truck. If you have a good relationship with your dealer, I would go back and ask them to help you set it up (mine spent almost an hour with me the day I picked it up and got all this stuff working). If the dealer is not helpful, a 16 year old neighbor kid could probably get it done in 10 minutes.

First year was free. I do believe it's $15/month after that.

You don't need to plug the phone in, it will automatically connect within a few seconds after you start the truck.

I recommend going to the dealer you bought it from, they should have set all of this up for you when you initially bought the truck anyways.

Bummer I bought it in CA. While on Vacation. Getting folks here in Sierra Vista AZ. is tough since I did not purchase here. Kinda Don’t them but then again they will get all future service.

Any dealership should be able to do it for you. It takes like 30 seconds to set up. Just ask the service advisor at your next service visit.

Assuming you have an Iphone, here's a step by step video if you want to try and do it yourself:

You can get lots of things on the big screen from your Android phone, and I suspect an Iphone as well. You can get live radar centered on your location, for one.
