Sould I try to re-align a fender so the gap between hood and door lines up with fender?

I just noticed that the driver door is sticking/rubbing against the edge of fender, and the fender look bent out, to where the gap between it an the hood is maybe close to an inch at the widest. I was able to force/bend the fender closer to the hood.

I once re-aligned a replacement fender for a 2007 Jeep Commander Limited, until the door and fender wouldn't rub anymore.

Maybe I will have to buy a used fender and hope it lines up well, and paint it to match the truck (Unless another one becomes available within a certain distance from me at some salage yard).
