Has anyone gone from a 7" PRO COMP (or any brand really) spacer lift to a coil over lift? I'm wanting to trade out my spacer lift and get a decent set of Coil overs, but i'm unsure the route to take. Do I need to match the coil over size to my 7" lift I have? I can only find 3-6 inch coils and if I do something smaller will everything I have like my steering knuckles and be compatible? My front strut continues to cut a key hole style slit into my 7" spacer in the front on the driver side, ive replaced 3 times so I want to just do it the right way. Any advice would be highly appreciated thanks in advance!

What 7” do you have? The manufacturer probably has a coilover upgrade option

Most company’s make a coilover to your spec. Call for example king, fox, icon as they can custom build one just for your specs. Sometimes they already have the measurements and other times they will ask you to give them the measurements

Pro Comp offers a 6" coilover. Then you make up the difference with some Coachbuilder shims.

I'm sure a custom build might be a little more coin, or maybe not? Just was looking for a reasonably priced option since I don't do to much do a whole lot of gnarly things in my truck haha but every time the strut rod cuts the spacer it throws my alignment out and my tires wear that much faster and those buggers are expensive ;( but ya I guess I could go the custom route

Or as mentioned above check with Pro Comp, they will probably be your best bet cost wise. I suspect you’re already well aware of the cost of cheaping out by now.

You would be surprised. They aren’t much more then a regular pre made coilover
