I have a 2015 Tundra equipped with 20" alloy wheels. I'm looking to buy one complete set of lug nuts to have as spares. Will these work for my spares?

Thanks but was hoping there was a part number for the set of 5 like above. The set of 5 black go for around $30 but a single chrome is around $10

Are your lug nuts flat washer lug nuts?

My 2014 OEM alloy wheels have acorn-style lug nuts..

Keep in mind that if you have a flat tire and have the steel spare, those use different lug nuts.

I got rid of my old steel wheel spare long ago and replaced with a matching alloy spare. So I should be good to go. Thanks!

Hey, Jim... That is why I asked the question since there always seems to be something I didn't consider lol! When I got my 2015, it came with a steel spare and I replaced it with a matching spare. I also wasn't impressed with the spare being stamped with "not for highway use" on the sidewall. My logic to replace the spare wheel and tire was wanting something I could actually use if I got a flat tire on the highway.

I'm 100% positive that Toyota wouldn't put a steel rim as a spare if you have alloy wheels and need to use the spare with the lug nuts that are on the alloy wheels.
    Somebody is :rasta:.

I hear you. I bought the truck brand new and the alloy wheels were an added option at the Toyota Houston regional center. The steel wheel came with the package. i guess they never expected me to ever have a flat.

Your lug nuts WILL fit on the steel spare.

Ok, I guess the older I get, the less lucid I become. If that is the issue, ok, so be it. Just tell me I'm screwed in my thinking. You won't offend me; I've been married for 52 years and hear it continually... But, I see a post that says that a steel spare needs different lug nuts in the case of a flat on an alloy wheel, one that says Toyota wouldn't install a steel rim as a spare needing a different lug nut if I have alloy wheels, and one post that says the lug nuts will fit on the steel spare. I'll go back to sleep now...

The alloy wheel uses a shank style lug that seats inside the lug hole. The steel wheel uses an acorn style lug nut.

Now I'm going to have to take my spare down to see. I cannot believe that Toyota would do that. If this is true why don't they give you a set of lug nuts for the spare?

Because that would require that both the sales guys/gals and the management be wise/smart/clued-in enough to give two sh!ts and one phvck.

My dealer "style" package included aluminum wheels in lieu of the SR5 stocker steels. The f'n factory lug wrench won't fit into the lug nut recess of the aluminum wheel. :angrygirl: So there's a 1/2" drive breaker bar, 3" extension and appropriate sized socket behind the rear seat.

I never even considered the factory lug wrench not fitting the lug nuts on my alloy wheels. Dang! Now i gotta go look.

Edit: Ok, I just verified that my OEM lug wrench fits my alloy wheel lug nuts.

I had to start carrying that just for wheel locks. It made it a simple choice to add a second socket and not use the stock stuff.

My TSS alloy wheels use an acorn-style nut..
I'm running the TRD spline acorn nuts..
I ditched the locking lug and have all 5 spline nuts.
