I found this little doodad in my new-to-me gen 1 Tundra and I'm not sure what it's for, or if it's even related to gen 1 Tundras at all.

It has a slight pivot joint in the middle. Pic next to keys for size scale.

    Any guesses?

Looks like a tool to get a keyed lug nut off. I’m only guessing since I’ve never seen one. One end goes into the socket wrench.

Yeah. I used to have one until Goofy Tire Center used mine to drop the spare and never put it back in my truck. I found out about it 6 years later when they asked me where was the Lug Key during my fresh set of tires install. I said, ‘Must still be here somewhere!’

Anyhoo, I had to Gorilla Arm the spare tire drop (lug keyed) myself because nobody at the shop could work their way out of a wet paper bag if their life depended. They paid dearly for that one.

Spare tire lock. It's too small for a wheel lug.

Yeah. No pics. I ended up removing my Spare Lock Mechanism (due to lost key) with Channel Locks and now just have the Factory Spare Removal Cone with the wing tabs. The Spare Tire Lock and Wheel Locks Key were a Dealer Mark-Up during purchase.

My Gas Door is Keyed with my Ignition Key.
