I’m coming up with 2 part numbers for the tube seals.

    11193-70010
    &
    11193-50010

    Requires 8, all the same part. Not a L & R

    Anyone know?

    thanks

    Looks like 05+ is 11193-50010

    11193-70010 is for 00-04

    Thanks for that.

I also want to replace the 16 ish or so seal washers that go with the bolts for the valve covers.....

Any idea on those? I've searched numerous sites and cant find them...

    Thx

    Are the tube seals leaking?
I've have a 2006 dbcb with 320k miles with original tube seals. I recently replaced the spark plugs and everything was dry.

Not leaking but the valve cover gaskets are…..Replacing them and it’s only a few more bucks to replace tube seals. They get hard and brittle and easy to do when valve cover is removed. Gonna do new plugs too.

At 125k (that’s pretty low miles) you may or may not like what you find under the valve covers. We’d love to see pics of the heads, for reference.

This post should help with stuff like getting the plug tube seals out, they can be a pain in the ass, and where to FIPG, etc. linking it in case it helps, it links out to lots of other info about the job: https://www.tundras.com/threads/valve-covers-fix-or-leave.105385/#post-2712883

For some reason on mobile the 1st link in that post is showing what I found under my valve covers, you may need to scroll down for clearer instructions on how to fully pry out the spark plug tube seals. It was THE most tedious part of the job.

Oh, and you can use doubled-up zip ties to help pull all the fuel lines etc. out of your way on the driver’s side for clearance. I don’t think I linked to pics of that (edit: here), but you may see what I mean when you get in there. Driver’s side is the worst, I tackled it first so the back half of the job would be all downhill. And most trucks I’ve seen, the driver head is always more caramelized than the passenger.

    Shifty,

These part numbers are also showing up correct for the L & R valve covers.
    11214-50011. Left
    11213-50031. Right

they are not what you listed but they show up as correct ‍♂️

I’m about to order but now not sure which ones are correct. They both say fit the 2006 Tundra 4.7L when you plug into website….

(actually, read my next reply also :D)

Per Toyota's Parts website, your two numbers here are the correct part numbers for 2000-2004 V8/4.7L, my part numbers are for 2003-2006. Here's a snippet from Toyota Parts site to back this up, taken from your LEFT part number:

So, I looked up my part number for the left side, and it appears Toyota also lists my part number as compatible for '03+ trucks (just not compatible w/'00-'02). If you're in question, call a Toyota dealership and tell them you're confused and need to know which part number fits your truck.

(I updated my other post to reflect this info, hopefully kills some confusion for folks later. Looks like there's some weird 2-year overlap for 03/04 trucks with the gaskets)
