For those DIY types out here.

I am preparing to install my lift:
2014 Limited 4x4 TRD package, stock suspension. Stealthest color - Silver Sky
-Toytec Boss 3/1. 700lb springs. 1-1.5 adjustable shackles. Firestone air bags. Daystar
    cradles. SPC UCAs.
My question is specific to the set up specs of the SPC UCAs.
I plan to place the caster in the "D" setting.

    QUESTION: Regarding the camber setting.

There is a slot in the camber arm, where the ball joint mounts, that goes laterally from side to side. How does one set it to be the closest approximate CAMBER position of stock? Do you put it in the middle of the slot? the inside? or the outside?

Any other discussion about measurements/setting specific to the SPC UCAs are welcome.

Thanks for the reply, but no. The Ball joint mount to the UCA is a slot. That slot allows the ball joint to be placed either inwards towards the center of the truck or outwards towards the fenders of the truck. It is another adjustment point allowing the camber to be adjusted from the top of the tire (or spindle knuckle thingy).

    I haven't added these... Yet.

But, when I do, if there's no clear direction, my instinct would be to place the ball joint in the center of the range of adjustment and drive to the alignment shop.

Unless with that setting, camber is out enough to visualize, I would use an angle locator to get it closer.

You will need an alignment after installing these.

I installed my SPC UCA’s yesterday. Start in the “D” position. Slide the ball joint as far to the outside as possible for a good staring point until you are able to get an alignment. It drove pretty straight at that setting.

Thanks you guys. I was beginning to think that there were no more DIYer's out there.

Yeah, saving money is one thing. But the primary reason for DIY is QC, and bragging rights, of course.
I have had some bad luck over the years with poor workmanship.

@TwistedTad, that is my exact set up!

We are out here, just haven't installed the adjustable SPC's which have moved up higher on my "get er done" list .
