I believe there is a spot within the settings screen where you can show the sign, hide the sign, or show the sign with a red outline showing when speeding.

There is a place to select the speed limit to be displayed under map. Mine also disappeared and won’t come back even though it is selected. I have had my truck just over a month and I am finding more and more things I don’t like about it. Doesn’t seem like Toyota engineers have ever lived in the real world.

I’m thinking the speed limit is data from the GPS map pack and is only displayed when known. Mine shows a limit on some roads, but not others.

Is it if off all the time now or just on certain roads?

Yes, that was it. Only displays on some roads and only when in full map view. I solved the problem by putting a Garmin in the truck. It is a far superior nav. system. Alerts me when exceeding the speed limit as well as a lot of other things. I guess the Toyota engineers aren’t smart enough to figure it out.

Mine has always disappeared. If I go into the nav settings and toggle it off and on again, it will appear but at some point it disappears again. I gave up on it, the nav is horrible anyway.

I was going to suggest that if you're ignoring the sign too often maybe this is the trucks way of saying "well fine then, screw it!"

I'm not sure your 2025 is the same as our 2021 trucks.

This thread is 7 yrs old, btw.

Hey, he had to research it!

I can't help but picture the poor guy out in his driveway clicking and scrolling, wife bringing him food... Then one morning as the sun peeks over the hill...
