Have you hooked up a scan tool to see if it shows speed? That would narrow it down a little.

I would trace wiring, since this appears to be a wiring issue. Either to/from the ECU. Throwing parts never ends well, should be the last thing once a diagnosis is made. Tracing wires is probably time consuming, but most cost effective. Rule our your ECU until you have confirmed no issues in wiring. Do you have taillights or bake lights? Are there other systems out of service? Maybe a corroded ground point. Does the speedometer move when driving in reverse?

Did you have any codes? Which transmission speed sensor did you change? The rear one?

I just tried changing the front transmission speed sensor(i had an extra) no change. Brake light is on and abs light. Cant remember what codes were on but they all had to do with brakes and traction control

Its the ABS ecu, its reads the signal from the wheel speed sensors and then passes that data on to the cluster to run the speedometer. I would be looking at reading the trouble codes in the ABS module, not the trouble codes in the Engine Control Module.

Backup camera, camper shell, double din stereo, amp, sub, blind spot cameras, modest lift, newer Tacoma rims, large AT tires, interior lighting upgrades, in bed, under hood, as well as leds in cab, blue foot well strips (night driving)or bright white strips if need to see, 3 additional white leds on ceiling front L/ R and center, toggle switch's and added accessory fuse box.
Could this be from an incompatible speed sensor? Having same issue, is rear left, right mandatory or is general rear speed sensor ok? Scan tool says possible fix is right rear wheel bearing? I have no speedometer but do have mileage, dash showing abs light, airbag light, check engine light 04 tundra 4.7 v8 rwd sr5 dc
