This has happened twice at my home, with the keys inside the truck the drivers door is found to be locked when I left it in the driveway for any period of time, the back doors are not locked though, any thoughts on this happening and the cause?

My Tundra has been at the dealership for 3 straight days now with outside Toyota field tech trying to figure it out. If you’re having any similar issues report it to Toyota National customer service # and get a case #. Take many videos. I’m willing to share my videos and help anyone with same issue. Let’s work together to get it fixed. Don’t let your dealer say they’ve never heard of it and they cant’t duplicate it. It’s happening.

Hello. I just joined the forum because my brand new 2024 Platinum Tundra has this same condition. This spontaneous lock out event has occurred at least 10 times from mile 18 to current mile 1120.

Is there a fix or solution anyone can point me to?

On Oct. 7th, 2024 I called Toyota National Customer Service to report the issue. After 10 minutes of hold for research, the agent said the vehicle needed to go to the dealer for service. Today, Oct. 9th, 2024 after two days at the dealer they called to report they could not duplicate the problem, had no diagnostic procedure, no fix, and I should come pick it up. They also reported they called Toyota and they had no information, reports, or fixes to recommend. Dealer just said to drive it and try and capture the conditions surrounding lockouts. For the record, I already provided details about past lock outs.

I'm extremely frustrated and hope others have had success with a fix or with Toyota

    Oct. 10th Update:
Toyota National Customer Service called back and I now have a case number and case manager assigned. Even thought the dealer could not duplicate the problem it happened this morning after sitting unlocked in the garage and I sent the video to both the dealer and case manager. I will update the case as it progresses.

Has anyone seen a fix for this yet? Same issue on a 2024 1794 since the day after picking up in August. Has been back to dealer twice with no resolution.

I just upgraded my radio to the 14 inch screen and this happened for the first time ever on my 22. I been having it for 3 years.
