Squatted truck

No reverse lift here unless it’s loaded down. Scored some free oak for the wood stove tonight. First real heavy load since I bought the truck this summer. Can’t beat that heavy oak for heat!

 

Yep, oak, maple, birch, and eucalyptus equals lots of BTU's.

I should have gotten a picture like that, but didn't think to do so.

 

This was to Sedona, I cringed every time a bridge transition came up, maybe about a 1” of up travel before the bumps contacted……

 

I'm sure my bumps were rubbing a time or two also. Them god forsaken Indiana roads, and then even worse once you hit rural KY...

 

It was literally the first thing I saw. Super hard to miss when people are wearing their politics on their sleeve.

 

In OP's defense... I couldn't see it on the little computer screen, but once I went to the bigger screen I could read it clearly.

 

Yeah, it's pretty in your face, and my screen's not even that big. Truck looks good all the same.

(EDIT: But it's not the first time something similar has come up, the other ended quietly enough)

The oak that’s in the truck will hit the wood stove in 2-3 years. Rocking some 3 year old oak and locust tonight. Stove is 605°, it’s 75° in the house and 10° outside.

 

Wish I would have installed them as soon as I bought the truck.
