SR Work Truck Package

I have been seeing a Tundra SR with the work package for sale.

I know it doesn't have Toyota Keyless entry and vinyl seat coverings. Anything else to know? Are the vinyl seats decent?

 

My SR has standard Cloth seats and Keyless entry too so.......

Why dont you get the VIN number and enter it into your Garage at Toyota.com and get a list of how it is configured exactly if you are talking about a used truck?

The Work Truck Package removes cloth seats, adds vinyl seats and the keyless entry is collateral damage for some reason. I have investigated it using the tools Toyota provides. I was curious if there were other details, that isn't accounted for in the online information.

Good question, yes it does.

 

The vinyl seats are beautiful. Everyone thinks I have leather seats. Stop by a dealership and check out the vinyl seats..you will be very impressed.

 

If you get cloth seats on the SR, it comes with keyless entry. Best thing about the SR no chrome!

 

There is no dealer near me with any Tundras much less any SR Work Truck models.

And as much as I love my SR I really do not prefer Leather or Pleather in a Work Truck.

Another just Bizarre thing is that mine does not have to Auto Light off feature when you turn the truck off like EVERY Toyota that I have had since the 90's but the lights will go off if you press the Lock button twice on the Key Fob?

I never realized this or read about it anywhere until someone here talked about it and sure enough it does work.

But the Light Stalk switch not doing Auto Off seems as idiotic to me as the Wiper Stalk Momentary Omission which was the first mod I did on mine and the first mod I would suggest on an SR for sure!

 

Anyone with a SR work truck package have any pics of the floors? Is there’s no carpet at all? I like the FJ cruiser for that reason, no carpet and easy to clean the mud.
