Wondering if anyone could confirm what the softex seats in the sr5 look like. Are they the same as whats in the limited trim or are they some offshoot of the cloth ones. I cant seem to dig up info via google.

Don't even try and compare an SR to a Limited. You get AT LEAST $500 more crap in the Limited.

As a soon-to-be purchaser of a 2023 Limited (ships in about a week) which will be my first truck, I take offense to the hate of the Limited trim :monocle:

to be fair I’d probably buy a sr5 hybrid if I could have

Calm down, Nancy. Pretty sure that post meant the softex was the same. Nobody is defiling luxury trims comparing them to work trucks driven by poors. You're still better than everyone. No need to clutch the pearls.

I'm sorry. That was rude of me. It's been a long day and I was unnecessarily antagonistic.

    What’s wrong with stock?
Here are some pictures of the Softex in the SR5. I’m fairly certain they are the same as on the higher trim levels.

The Softex in the SR5 is the same as the Limited. The higher trims get real leather and a different pattern. But the big reason to get the Softex in the SR5 is to get power seats and rear seat armrest.

Ya, that's what mine looks like. I've never liked anything other than cloth seats but these have grown on me. My only issue is, if a piece of lint or crumb gets in a perforated hole, it messes up there pattern and stands out to me and I've got to get it out.

Having power seats is the exact reason I went with the softex.

I love my cloth seats, but I do miss the power seats. Also, it is criminal for toyota to not have height adjustment (even manual) on the cloth seats. This along with the lack of BSM and parking sensor on a $52k truck is beyond absurd.

I had power seats in my 2012 and actually prefer the simplicity of the manual seats. Yes, I know I'm in the minority here, but its really true! Just wish it came with heated seats...

SR5 with TRD Off Road includes all of this in Canada. Power cloth seats, BSM, RCTA, parking sensors. Also get the same steering wheel and shifter as the TRD Pro.

Pretty much the only thing we have up here that is better than the us packages/options
