SR5 Footwell lights?

I'm intending to install some better interior lighting, specifically in the footwells. I found the post in the "mods and tutorials" about it but my question is about the driver's footwell light. My truck does not appear to have an existing footwell light to attach to so my question is whether or not the 2017 Crewmax SR5's all come with a footwell light or if that is only on the higher trim levels?

 

I have a 2015 SR5 and it came with a single footwell light on the driver side. I assume yours does too. Check out Vleds for a light.

Did you buy the truck new or used?
Your SR5 should have the little tiny foot well light on the driver's side under the dash.
If not, I'd bet there is at least the wiring for it..
It's a very small plug with a beige and lilac wire.

 

Thanks Corsa1, I did a little digging and found mine, burned out and not in the position it was intended to be in. Time to order some LEDs. Thanks Again

1lowlife- I bought the truck used with <55k on it from my son-in-law. He isn't bothered by little things not working properly but my OCD is not letting me leave stuff un-repaired. Initially I assumed that I didn't have a footwell light because there was nothing in the hole in the dash but I found it up under the knee cover so I have a place to start.

 

VLEDs work great. Nice kit for front and back

I just used some cheap Amazon strips for the front and some small LEDs for the rear.




If I had it to do over again, I would probably go with VLEDs as @French Avocado suggested..
They make awesome stuff..

I used two led strips meant for inside of a pick up bed. Very bright, and they fade on/off because I wired them to the little bulb plug on the driver side.
