Installed a set of SSW Dakars onto the Tundra today. This is their latest 6 lug, +0 offset wheel. Thought long about black or bronze. Decided to throw the machined silver wheels. I’ll add some detailed photos later. But, it looks good. I switched from Ridge Grapplers wrapping a set of 20” rims. Now running the Toyo AT3 35x12.50 17 load range E.

Looks good! How do you like the Toyos over the nittos?

Today was first day with them. It was raining all day. The Ridge Grapplers weren’t great on wet pavement. During take off, they would lose traction. The Toyos have been really good to start. Wet pavement is no problem at takeoff, highways speeds, or around town. Initially I can say they’re exactly what I expected. Personally though the RG had a better appearance. They looked good and for the most part, weren’t entirely disappointing. I live in Northern Illinois and needed something better for the conditions here. The Toyos seem to be off to the right start.

Truck looks really good, the aluminum wheels compliments the white paint perfectly.

Nice to see someone doing machined wheels. Its a great break from the usual black/bronze, especially with the accents on your truck

@SoCalTundy that looks awesome. Are those -25 offset by chance? Here’s a picture of mine. These are 0 offset. IMG_5628.jpg

Reading your comment on their handling their first day, keep in mind they are/were new. Once they scrub a bit all tires should grip better. I can’t speak for these personally, but as someone who use to go through a lot of motorcycle tires I can at least speak to the scrubbing piece for better grip.

Running about 3 inches on the lift up front with Icons and yes I did a BMC. I'm running Deaver springs in the back and had them adjusted at the Deaver shop to give me about an inch of rake.

Curious did either of you still have on the axle hub cover? I installed the Dakars on my 2021 and cannot get the front center cap on over the axle cover. Did you flatten? Thank you

You’ll need to buy some screw spacers from the hardware store to make it work. You won’t be able to tell they’re on once you put them on.

Installing a set of these wheels on my tundra this week. I can’t find any information on the compatible TPMS sensors. Are you using the OEM ones? Or is there a specific one I should be getting? Thanks
