So 2006 limted sequoia 210K miles, battery is only a year old and has a good charge. It started acting like the solenoid was having trouble engaging, you'd turn the key get nothing start to let off the key and it would crank, now nothing at all.
I did try bypassing the relay to see if it was the relay and no luck there either.

So I need to tow this over to the mechanic now to get fixed as I'm not interested in removing the intake manifold off just to get at the starter (why did they do that?). My question is, I can install a tow bar on the front of this. But if I do, do I have to take the drive shaft out? Or can i get away with putting the vehicle in neutral, I'm only towing it about 1 mile at the most. Just if I can save $120 on the tow that would be great but I am not into trashing my transmission so...

Yes you can the issue with doing so is your rear axle on the ground will be spinning the internals in your transmission even though it's a neutral just means it's disengaged from the engine which will cause the fluid to heat up and without it being pumped and circulated you can run into issues there but going a mile as long as you keep it slow shouldn't be an issue
