I don't understand how they have such a hard time stocking wheels. It's been like this for years, even before COVID. You would think they could have increased production by this point. I was lucky I found a used set of Ray10's.

Im pretty sure they do it like that on purpose. I think its mainly a one man show and he is a fire fighter or something like that and started SCS as a side hustle.

They don’t want to loose the hype. I respect it

Maybe by keeping supply low they think it will make people want them more? Strange business model. I've actually seen people say they ordered different wheels because they got tired of waiting for SCS. I notice they also spend time making limited edition colors when they can't even stock their normal colors. :notsure:

I've been fascinated by the same business model in an interest my wife has- purses.

I've seen her chase stupidly expensive and hard to find purses from Channel and Louis lots of times. They really keep the supply low to keep the customers ready to pay top dollar when they do find the item.

Not sure if SCS does that intentionally but it is the same phenomenon. I'd still love a set of F5 in bronze.

Matte Bronze F5s are on the list ;)

Really in the grand scheme of things I believe that Vinn's wheels are very reasonably priced. I am pretty certain it is a one man operation and if what @seth419 said is correct, he probably doesn't have the capital to place a huge order and continue to do that to keep stock. I got mine as "blems" but they weren't mint to me. The "defects" were so minimal that 99% of people wouldn't have even noticed.

I agree with that. I'm a cheap bastard so to me a $250 wheel is busting my balls, but I recently saw Methods are about the same price. I would much rather buy SCS.

I wanted scs but got tired of waiting and went with methods. I just wish I could’ve got a little more aggressive offset with the methods

That is why I waited for the SCS wheels to be available.

I wish all the best to SCS. If I'll be honest though, I never really became aware of them until I started actively participating in this forum.

I think Methods are better. I also appreciate that they are regularly in stock.
