I have a 2010 Tundra Double Cab 5.7 2WD I purchased new. I got the 2WD because I don't go offroad and live in the south with no snow and rarely any ice. The 5.7 is a beast pulling trailers under 9-10K. No complaints with power. I am the only one who rides in my truck most of the time, so the interior still looks new. The truck still drives like it was new. I have never kept a vehicle this long. I still enjoy driving the truck and the new Tundra's are crazy high. I only have 130K miles. Maybe something new will temp me in the future but this truck still meets my needs. I may just keep it for another 100k miles.

I feel the same with my 2014.
I don't offroad or haul much.
It's just me in it 95% of the time.
Just a few weeks away from hitting 100K..
Being I love having no vehicle payments and don't care for the Gen 3s, I plan to keep her for a long time..

I wouldn't trade my 2007 CM for anything. Just like you, the truck rides and performs like new. Plus it's paid for.

I've had my '08 since new as well; it is now approaching 280k...

A couple of years ago, I was eagerly awaiting the 'reveal' of features and such of the new 3rd Gen Tundra; once they came out, I decided that it wasn't for me... So, I started a frantic search for one of the last new '21 Pros (very late in the year). I got lucky and found one just coming out of detail and heading to the showroom on a Saturday morning a mere 2,050 miles from me (just a random lucky phone call at the right time); I secured it over the phone after a brief video walk-around and finalized purchase Monday morning. After a bit of a holiday delay, the truck was finally delivered to me 2nd week of December 2021.

In spite of everything that's better about the new rig and in spite of how much I love driving it; my daily driver and main rig is still my '08 Tundra (for now)... :D

I'm confident you'll have no problem getting another 100k out of your 2010

I am old enough to remember when your vehicle reached the 100K range, (if it made it) it was ready for a new motor and tranny. I may buy something new in the future but if I do, I will probably keep my 2010 as a work truck. I still carry full coverage insurance, but I may consider changing to liability only since the resale value is now between 10-13K.

I recall those days as well. However, when I started buying Toyota trucks they are long behind me now. I'm glad you still love your truck. Myself and most of the members here are in the same boat. I'll keep my 2nd gen for another 20 years if I can still get parts for it 20 years from now.

This is my second Toyota. Prior to this, I bought a new 4 Runner. I wish I still had that one as well. I traded it in on the Tundra in 2010.

    I started out with a 1997 4WD 4Runner, then a 2005 Tundra that got wrecked, then the 2014..

Still love my 2011 CrewMax 2WD. It was a dealer demo purchased in April 2011 with ~9k miles on the clock. It has never let me down for 183k miles and still looks good. I cringe when I look at prices for new trucks so this one isn't going out to pasture any time soon. 2nd gen Tundras are hard to beat for reliability!
