Sub box for 2019 Crewmax

I'm from Hawaii and looking to purchase a box that will actually fit in the back of my seat. Found this guy on FB saying he makes custom sub boxes, traveled miles to go get just to find out it doesn't fit, tried to contact him, no trace at all, not knowing he was friends with one of my family members. Yup that got him alright, paid $300 for it. He agreed to make another one, and hell no it don't fit AGAIN. I GIVE UP, I'll take the loss.... So can anyone help me in finding a box that fits my 2 10' JL. I really don't want to spend an arm and a leg to get it ship to me either. I'm new to all this and first time owning a truck so don't bash me, I'm still got lots to learn

I don't have a picture of mine, but there are pictures on the Tech12Volt site... I have two of the exact same subs, so yes No problem fitting into the box. Send an email to James ( tech12volt@gmail.com ) and he can send you more pictures.... I could take a picture of mine installed but seriously you cannot see it at all once its in the truck... The build quality is high level, you will not be disappointed.... Tell him the subs you have (he sells that model also) so he will cut the holes exactly for them...

No Problem... I seem to remember that the face of the sub box have an area that is recessed a bit to allow clearance for one of the brackets of the back seat. I would guess that is where other makers fail... James has built a ton of these ... Let us know how it goes!

Shallow subs are your best option. How about 8 inch shallow subwoofers?

According to the specs on the side of the box, you will need at least 6 inches of clearance of space between the backseat and the back panel.

 

4.9" of depth, + .75" baffle, +.25" lip, +.45" of Xmas.

 

These are great.

 

Audiofrog GS8ND2. There's a dude selling two brand new subs on a forum for $500 shipped.

 

Only the 10w0 will fit in the Tech12 box.
