People still buy Super Swampers? Back before good tires were available, we’d run the TSL-SX on our crawlers.

The Thornbirds were so wild looking. The old Suzuki has some swampers on it.

As I was writing my post, I was also giggling about the ol’ Thornchickens.

I came to comment the same thing  one of the worst tires off road (from what I've heard, luckily the internet was a thing before I could buy tires), let alone God forbid anyone use them on road.

Well I'd have to disagree but only from my personal experience. I mudded in them and ran them on the street with good results. There are also articles where people used them on the trail after custom siping/trimming with good results too.

We ran the shit out of them here in western Oregon, but we’re dumber than a lot. Never really did many road miles though. Mine were always trailer queens…

I learned they were outdated on my first Rubicon run. Glad I evolved before I start going to Johnson Valley…
